This is an RP bsed on the world of my novel series. Pretty much anything can happen, and i WILL be checking this more than is probably healthy. BUT anyway.... Things are simple enough. Creat a character, fantasy style, and pick from anything you could find in a fantasy world that can speak. Saying something like 'talking lion' doesnt count. It has to be something either original or something that is already accepted. The basic six suggested are human, druid, vampire, werewolf, dragon, or some hybrid mix of the previous five. Demons are cool too. The goal: have fun without being too much of a dick.
Backstory will be up shortly. Hold on....

THERE!!! all done. Backstory: The great demon Dravik Hakar, lord of chains, died nearly twenty years ago, at the hands of a young hybrid namd Zeke and the pack of valiant wariors he led into battle. Blessed by Ara, the Goddess that gaurds the tome of existance, they were able to permanently destroy the demon. However, his mate, Xelia, was a seeress (female seer) of immense power, and she had a vision that his evil would return- though not through him. Though many years have now passed in peace, some still fear ha her predicion will indeed come to pass. The great and powerful demon was destroyed, yes, but there are rumors of a shadowy land beyond the seas, known only to the dragons, where some say his armies are collecting their strength. The dragons of Draconia themselves have cut off diplomatic ties with the other four ruling nations of Versimoren and seem to have little interest in these rumors, denouncing them in as offhand a manner as possible at every opportunity. A call for heroes has gone out as demons ravage the countryside for the first time in decades. Who will respond?
The Five nations and their People
Gladir, capital of the Gladelands. Land of the Natureborn, the finest of all druids. Peceful folk that weild great power, they respect the natural balance and the cycle of life and death above all else. Ruled by Glademaster Valyr. They all worship Ara, Goddess of nature, life, and truth.
Zeril, capital of Verisna, the land of the Vampires. THe vampires of Versimoren are unlike those from most modern tales. The sunligh doesnt kill them , but rather lessens their strength and speed, as well as thier five senses, to that of a lesser mortal being. these creatures require regular feedings (preferably on animal blood; feeding on intellignet sentient beings is outlawed) to survive. After a month without blood, even the storngest slip into a coma. They live about five hundred years. This nation is ruled by Queen Xelia, the Seeress.
The Packlands. Home of the Werewolves THe wolves are nomadic in nature and have been for thousands of years. When the war with Hakar ended, they agreed to peace terms with the other races, and finally, for the sake of Diplomacy, settled down. The packlands are wild, as are its people, who posess strong spirits and fiery tempers. Stronger and Faster than any other race, save the dragons, these former nomads may change their form at will, but only into that of a large human-lupine creature. They change for the first time on the first full Moon either after being Changed from another mortal race or after their thirteenth birthday. Ruled by High Cheif Deathfang.
The Lands of Verol. Capital: Zen he industrialized humans hail both from Versimoren, this world, and the other worlds connected to it via portals- including Earth! President Artur Crimzon rules over these technologicaly dependant creatures.
Draconia, Capital of Dalir, home of the dragons. Dragons on Versimoren can change into any shape- but this power comes at a price. Those who assume another shape think like the animal they imitate as long as they are in that form. the longer one maintains the form, the more like the animal their mind becomes. Many dragons have lost themselves this way. Each Dragon has a humanoid and draconic form, complete with large wings, using the later only when neccessary- or amusing. They each also have an elemental atunement, and the ability to breath out flame, ice, or lightning at will. These may intermingle rather oddly, leading to aquatic lightning dragons- which almost always kill themselves due to an unexpected hiccup. King Zegoriv of the Shadowscale Clan rules the mountain ranges the dragons call home. Next Up: Special rules.

Signs: Each person on Versimoren is born with an arcane tatoo called a Sign. THere are several Rare Signs, Six Great Signs, and hundreds of lesser Signs. Only the Druidic Natureborn bother to keep track of the precise numbers and abilities.
No player may have a Great Sign. All other Signs are Acceptable. List the abilites you desire and the name you would assign the Sign that commands them (ex. Sign of Inferno for fire, Sign of Storms for weather and lightning, etc.) Come up with the names yourself !
No other special rules at the moment, but that may change.
Character format:
Name: Race: ( one of the five, a hybrid of several of them, or a demon called a Redeemed one. If you want to be crazy, fine. Unless you want to be a villan, though, dont be evil. If ou DO want to be a villan.... YEAH!!!! But no evil 'im a hero' characters. Your a hero or not.) Powers: (be creative) Background story: (bonus points if i like it) Appearance: Attitude: Dark Secret: Sign: Mentor: (one of the five rulers, doesnt need to be the ruler of your race.)

hope you like the character I created. Name: Arzsooth Hurgraton Race: Dragopire (dragon-vampire hybrid) Powers: Telepathic messaging (can speak to others through his mind) Appearance: Long black hair that covers the left side of his face. On the left side of his face, he has a scar going from his cheek to his eyebrow. Has his sign on his chest. Wears basic robes with no magical enchantments. Attitude: A very sarcastic character Arzsooth will always jump at the chance to bring someone’s self-esteem down. He only acts kindly to those who he has grown to like. Dark Secret: Arzsooth wants to take over Versimoren and become a god. Sign: The Sign of Those Long Forgotten - Not much is known about this sign other than it keeps the soul of anyone who has it engraved on them. Once inside the tattoo, the soul will be forever trapped in there unless it is destroyed, then the soul will be free and go to the afterlife. Mentor: Queen Xelia, The Seeress. Backstory: Arzsooth Hurgraton was born in the outskirts of Dalir. His mother, Atria Hurgraton of Zeril, died giving birth to him. His father, Fliyeboq Hurgraton of Draconia, carried his son and his deceased wife back to Draconia. Fliyeboq took his wife to the city’s graveyard and buried her in a coffin made of oak. After this, Fliyeboq couldn't handle being the father to Arzsooth and so he flew him over to the vampire capital, Zeril. Fliyeboq left no details causing Arzsooth to be surrounded by mysteries. Arzsooth spent the rest of his childhood in Zeril, he even met the vampire, Eltrise Domistrah, who he swiftly fell in love with. On the occasion of his graduation from Zeril University, Arzsooth asked Eltrise to marry him. neither knew that this would spread rumours to the other capitals. On the day of the wedding, Arzsooth was planning on spending that night at the tavern with everyone else to celebrate...that’s when disaster struck. An unknown dragon smashed into the cathedral and breathed a hot, midnight black fire across the ground. In one slice, the dragon cut Eltrise in half. Arzsooth ran out to find the chaos that the dragon was causing. With its wings flapping at the speed of sound, raced out the massive hole it had created and left a small not behind. "Dear Fliyeboq" "Rumors have spread that a mysterious man may be marrying Eltrise in Zeril, we believe that this mysterious man is you son" "Your orders are simple, don't kill the guard standing at the entrance, he’s the one paying us for this." "Destroy the wedding, and as for your son...you can decide." " - Assassin Response Squad" Arzsooth didn't know why this Fliyeboq was considered his father and he didn't want to know how it was possible, all he knew was that this prick needed to die for what he did that day.

He is trained to use swords and shields. He HATES using hand-to-hand combat to deal with foes as there is no skill, just strength. His favourite sword is a katana forged with black steel.

Feel free to look at the RP thread of this. We'll start up soon. I'll give it maybe a week or Four (probably not that many) for more people. Then it'll start and new guys will need to catch up. If you don't want to wait fo rmore people.... say so. We can start a bit earlier. Maybe. I'm.... almost considerate of others. Almost.

New Thing, forgot to tell you all... Maximum # of abilities is 3, 4 if you have a great backstory. The more powers you have, thought, the less focus you have in any one ability, and some abilities work better together than others. AKA; a Seer with Fire powers has less clarity in their Visions than one without any other abilities. If they also have healing, they may only get a blurry image. The bonus 4th ability has no penalty, so two may be chosen at full stregnth if you have a great backstory (looks at chimney)
PS the name of your Sign is yours to decide, but i only have so much pacience. I will rename if necceesarry, so choose well, aka. no profanity in Sign names, and remeber to make them sound Epic. Gods made them.

Heres a updated version if metamorphasis is allowed. Technically, you allready have that power as a Part-Dragon Character. However, since you are only part dragon, the racial ability is less efective. If you wish your 2nd power to simply be that you have FULL acess to the draconic shapeshifting powers (aka, full sized dragon form, can change into certain creatures for limited amounts of time, etc), then that is not only acceptable, but in fact ingenious
