Arzsooth pushed the doors of the tavern open "Do you have a horse, because if not you are going to have a long walk to our destination." Arzsooth knew that Vega would come in handy later on, he secretly started to plan on what form he could shape-shift into to fly there easily.

"Sorry. I'm no good with pets." Vega said, jokingly. He had a feeling Arzsooth had something up his sleeve. "Besides," he said as he began to walk, "It's not like we're in a rush. We've got plenty of time."

Arzsooth looked at Vega "you're expecting them to not notice? we don't have time to lose!" Arzsooth ran outside and found an open space "I'm going to do something unexpected, okay?" Arzsooth attempted to form in to a green scaled dragon.

The transformation takes only seconds. Soon, you have assumed the form of your ancestors.

MEawhile, our new player:Valad hears the sounds of shouting as he walks throught the forest. the distant sound of an enraged dragon roaring catches his atention as well. In addition, he gets a vauge and uneasy sense whenever he observes the world through his arcane senses.Something or someone s tampering with unstable magic- and they're nearbye.

Valad sniffed the air, his catlike sense melding with his magically attuned abilities. He smelled something odd. "What can you hear, Daemon?" Valad said in the language of cats to his Familiar. Daemon was a large gray cat, with dark green eyes and a very expressive face. "The forest and the dragon going mad somewhere nearby are drowning the sounds out. I can't get a bead on it." He said, his voice deeper than you'd expect from a cat. Valad nodded, and knelt down on the ground. He did the mental focusing that magicks required, and muttered a short phrase to a spell of detection and identificiation, searching for the source of the disturbance.

Valad made a 'hmph' noise, and stood. He looked up at the sky, and took a deep breath, and Changed. His human form seemed too collapse on itself, and in one sharp bundle of cracks and the Phuume! sound of hair shooting out, and suddenly a huge black tiger stood in Valad's place. He was completely black, but when the light reflected off his furr you could see subtle stripes. His dark grey cat eyes glowed slightly, and he sniffed the chain. It smelled like magic. He followed it, big padded paws moving him silently. Daemon purred, and followed close behind, just as quietly.

the farther you follow the chain, the farther from the dragon sounds you get- though for some reason, your instincts tell you the OTHER endof the chain leads to the source of the combat sounds. you feel an imense demonic aura as you follow the chain, and you finally find the source- a pale man with black chain wrapped around each arm. HE's laughing softly to himself as you appear. "So the fun begins, and the first guest arrives." He says to himself.

Valad roared at the man. It was a bone rattling, chest thumping roar that hit the man like a wave, it was obvious the roar was imbued with magicks. In normal men it would send them running with fear, but this man was different. Valad turned back into human form, and unsheathed the Eye of the Tiger. As he pulled the dagger from his belt, IT growled, and Valad pointed it at the man and used the power of it's command. "PAIN." He commanded, his voice as strong as a Tiger's roar, and the dagger flashed. The nerves of the man flashed, but would the spell work? This is no ordinary man...
