Alexander brushed bits and pieces from his victims off of his shirt. He swaggered into the elevator and let the doors close behind him. His nictitating membranes cleaned his angular orange eyes. One blink, two, three, they looked almost human again.
He wasted no time in putting his hair back in a ponytail, thank goodness he kept two or three spare ribbons on hand. As the elevator doors opened once again, he took his own sweet time passing through them.
His skin prickled as he surveyed the group, there were more than he had anticipated. "Alexander de Luca, humble shapeshifter, as your service," he cooed, bowing graciously towards Arohk.
It was a lie, he had never been humble a day in his life. He tried to put on a friendly air, grinning at anyone who dared look at him. Behind that sinister smile the wheels in his head turned. He would soon know who his friends would be, and who would not. It didn't hurt, knowing every single detail about your comrades, now did it?
Oh but Alexander had no intention of doing anything cruel, certainly not! "My my, I see why you set the standard so very high, I can already tell we have astonishing talent here!" he declared, eager to lavish his teammates with false kindness.

Examining his Readius with the care one may show to their brand new lamp, Kex ran his digits over the device, curious, and almost excited, though such emotions were difficult to read when he had no facial muscles. Or face. On his trip up the lift, Kex brought the device to his arm, as a set of wires extended out and connected into several open sockets on the device, and brought it to rest directly in his arm. After a few moments of loading the new hardware up and installing several thousand processes to ensure he could connect with the device easily, Kex found himself letting out a similar robotic chuckle. "Processing power up 23.7%, data access with the extranet increased three fold, downloading and scanning data now... complete. Information on several key figures acquired, as well as limited access on Capital ship 'Olympus'." Kex seemed somewhat disappointed at this last announcement to himself, before following with. "Optimization complete. A super computer within a super computer? Perhaps they will plug me into a satellite next. Hopefully with a very large laser. Note to self: Request orbital lasers at next opportunity." Just as he finished up this analysis, Kex's lift stopped and opened the doors to the people he was to work with. Needless to say, he was quite excited to see them all.
Kex greeted James with a sort of wave that was stiff and robotic. Kex intended it to be that way. "Greetings Captain James M. Wanderer." He spoke, before nodding in agreement. "I have succeeded in your exercise, yes, perhaps next time you can equip them with better weaponry and give those simulations a fighting chance? Perhaps a broken bottle. Or a screwdriver. My race is very weak to the legendary screwdriver." Kex said in his calm radioish voice, which made it difficult to tell if he meant that or not. "Regardless, as per Captain James M. Wanderer's orders..." Kex began, turning to the others. "I am a KEX Model #256978 combat medic sniper class assault unit. I specialize in picking apart targets from afar with my rifle, healing injuries on the battlefield, or hacking into high security enemy installations. I assure you all I will not let any of you come to harm. Your species are the ones with three hearts, correct?" Kex asked a number of his fellow colleagues, his quizzing tone made it sound almost genuine.
After his introduction, Kex noticed the Chariot with greater detail and seemed to be examining it, his lens like eyes adjusting to the scope of it and looking it over for a few moments. "A rather impressive craft, Captain James M. Wanderer. If this is our support vehicle, success and moral rates should increase 7.2%. Which could be increased even more by the addition of a large orbital laser of some kind..."

Onna had stretched and brushed her armour off before she stepped into the elevator, wiping her hand clean of blood on a strip of cloth at her hip. When she entered Hangar 21, she looked around and watched the others introduce themselves, her arms crossed, leaning on her hip. Some of them seemed unpleasant, especially that Alexander guy. Too cocky. Waiting until Alexander took his place in line, Onna stepped forward and turned to face the others, glancing at Arohk, before looking at each individual person. Her red eyes darting from face to face, she finally spoke. "Onna Silverstone, sharpshooter, talented with a sniper or simply using my body. But don't get any ideas, if you can help it." Looking to Arohk, she hesitated and said, "May as well show you guys what else I can do. Might help if you know I can do this so I don't get stabbed if I show up looking like the enemy." She chuckled softly, and slowly her body started to change, becoming more and more... Male? Finally, her form shimmered, and she looked identical to Arohk, spinning around in a circle to display that there were no differences. "My name is Arohk Zephyr, and this is my favourite spot on the Olympus." She smirked, her voice sounding identical to Arohk's, and she allowed the others to observe before her form shimmered back, and she rolled her shoulders. "Guess that's it," She said, and brushed her bangs back from her face, walking back into line, and turning to face Arohk once more.

"I'll make sure to look at it later," James said, responding to Sparrow.
After all the introductions were done, James turned to the mystery figure, "This is Richard, by the way. He's my thrall, that's all you need to know for now. I'll tell you the rest later, if any of you are interested. For now though..." he paused, turning to the ramp up to the Chariot, "We're heading to the planet Rexacolum. They're considering joining the TSC, but there's a job they want done. It shouldn't be too complicated. I'll explain more when we're close to the planet." James said before heading up the ramp into the Chariot.
Inside, the group was met with an advanced ship for the size. A small hallway lead to a round meeting room of sorts, with a holographic map in the center. It was showing their current location inside of the Olympic fleet.
A tall man wearing a brown leather vest and plain white shirt was standing over the map, as if he was inspecting it. He had buzzed brown hair, and a brown goatee.
James approached the man, "Paul! Team's here, tell Green to start her up."
The man named Paul turned to James and the rest of the team, nodding, "Sure thing brother. I'm Paul Sanderson by the way, pleasure to m'chall," the man said in a country accent before heading down a narrow hallway opposite the group.
James turned to meet the rest of the group, "It'll be a while, so feel free to make yourselves at home. I'll be in my quarters if you need me, they're down there," James said, pointing at a narrow hallway close to the one Paul left, "feel free to get to know Paul or Green too, or you could just hang out in your quarters until we're there. Any questions?"

Arohk smiled, rubbing his hands together as the team finished introducing themselves, "Excellent! Our team is far better than any team James could assemble! Now come! Greatness awaits us!" He exclaimed, turning and heading into the now open ship.
"Since our objective is so close to the Olympic fleet, we received a normal transport ship. I'll explain our mission when we near the goal, for now however," Arohk paused, turning and sitting in one of the seats of the transport ship, "we should get better acquainted with one another! Who would like to go first?" He asked with an overly excited smile.

Upon entering the ship itself, Kex seemed to almost burst with glee. Or rather, he would if he had a mouth to show it with. Or cheeks. Instead, he simply darted his glowing 'eyes' back and forth, examining every inch as they reached the small map like area. While the others greeted Paul and James properly, Kex was busy looking each up on the extranet provided, the profile that was allowed of course, Kex would never do anything illegal. Stepping closer to the map, Kex waved a small hand over the hologram, as if summoning information, and watched as it poured through his readius. "Data files on nearby planets. Mostly common knowledge, downloading needed files. Done. Captain James M. Wanderer, a question." He said simply, before beginning. " How much access to the ships details am I allowed via intergalactic law? I find myself extremely...curious about the inner most secrets and details of this vehicle. I assumed it only right to ask before digging up particularly scandalous past information. Such as an alien prostitution ring. They are more common then you think." Kex seemed to laugh, though it could have just been a bit of radio feedback from his voice.

At Arohk's inquiry, Onna looked to the others. Taking a deep breath, she tucked a stray piece of her hair behind a pointed ear. Leaning against the wall of the room inside the ship, she decided to speak up first. "Well, I guess I'll go." She took in a deep breath and sighed, "Not much to say, really. I'm from Isos, a war planet, and left a few years ago. A friend of mine met me on a docking bay and we travelled together for a bit until he was injured and couldn't join me in coming here. Don't have a family, don't have a mate, and I don't have a house to myself, but I guess the Olympus takes care of that." She muttered, referring to the bedrooms they each were provided. She debated on whether or not to provide more personal things like interests or hobbies, but she decided that if someone wanted to know, they would inquire about it themselves. "Um... I don't know what else there is to tell, really, besides about my vampirism, but that's a whole other subject altogether." Hesitating, she brought a hand up to her face and rubbed a pointed fang with the pad of her thumb, looking to the others to say their part.

Skye sat down in a seat on the ship. She took a look around, and study her new teammates a bit. She turned her attention to Arohk when he spoke. Skye's straight, emotionless face went into a displeased face when she heard what he had to say.
Is he for real? He must be joking. Skye thought to herself while shaking her head in disbelief. No on is actually going to- Skye began to think when Onna spoke.
She's actually going with this crap! Aghhhh! That's it! Skye thought while Onna spoke about herself. As soon she was done, Skye bolted right up from her seat, and went on a rant.
"Alright Arohk, I've had enough of this shit! First the tests, then the training and now this!? Stop wasting time! We are going on a mission, so you better damn well talk now about what the hell it's about. We aren't here to make god damn friends! I can go about my mission without knowing Onna's relationship status. We're here to carry out the mission. Not talk about our personal lives. Why am I going to tell you all of my life story? All you need to know about me is I'm a shapeshifter, psychic, and a strong human! And together we will finish the task that is asked of us. So let's do what we are all meant to do here!"
Skye sat back down into her seat, and crossed her arms. She stared down at everyone daring and willing for the next person to speak.

Arohk simply blinked as he stared in awe of Skye. He didn't speak for a few moments, instead turning to Onna with a curious glance, "You're a female. Is she on her period? That is what it's called, right? Drakkin women don't have those..."

Alexander wasted no time in seating himself, one slender leg laying across the other, leaning back in his usual confident manner.
"Well, I'm from a little city called Carvassa, I live with my dear sister there," he wiped an imaginary tear from his eye, "oh I do hope she can get along, she's utterly mentally incompetent, poor thing." All Alexander cared about was if she was chewing on the furniture, again.
"Me? Well, I'm just shapeshifter with a passion for swordplay, a bit old fashioned perhaps, but so very satisfying," he said, folding his bony fingers into a tent. For once, he told the truth, it was the only thing that could satisfy his sadistic tendencies.
His eyes moved so fast you could almost hear them, and fixed upon Skye. “My my, aren’t we testy?” he cooed, “my darling, I wish to complete our mission just as much as you, but you fail to see the importance of forming a strong team dynamic here!” He cleared his throat, brushing a stray lock of hair away, “I for one am a huge fan of making friends, after all, you know what they say, you don’t have to run faster than the bear, only your slowest friend!” He followed his little joke with a cold laugh.
He leaned back and continued to stare, his narrow pupils motionless in the yellow miasma. His grin morphed, it was smug, he dared her to make the next move. He wanted to see where she fell for him, with the weak, or with the strong. He never got to quarrel with his sister, due to two things. Firstly, she could barely talk at all. Secondly, she always did what he said anyway. He took every opportunity to prove how fucking fantastic he was. Now everyone would see what a great team player he was! Right?

Davien growled slightly, 'What has this place come to, the great TSC now employs the help of abominations!' he thought, crossing his arms as she clenched his fist. He leaned against the wall of the ship, not able to sit down due to the seat being too small. 'Still, she must be at least trustworthy if she has joined...' Davien breathed deeply, trying to keep his anger down, and to stop his arm reaching for his sword. "Sh'hadeen vorkuun."He said quietly, his eyes glowing faintly of white as he spoke.
He bellowed out a laugh as Skye had her little fit of rage, "I believe so!" He said to Arohk jokingly, 'This'll be fun, an abomination AND a bitch.'
"Davien Martellus, paladin, greatswordsmen."He said in a gruff tone, quickly turning around again to lean back on the ships cold steel walls, hoping that the others would speak, if only to annoy Skye even more.

It took Skye's will-power not to lunge at Arohk's remark. Or Alexander's at that too. She clenched her fists into tight balls, keeping silent while Davien spoke, giving Skye the opportunity to calm down, and think about what she was going to say.
When Davien finished, Skye remained seated, and directed her eyes at Arohk.
"You know, it really isn't polite to talk about periods in public, Arohk." Skye snarled at him. As she was turning to Alexander she added, "And no. I don't have my period."
"Alexander," Skye adressed him to make sure she had his full attention. She wanted him to hear everything she had to say. "Do you honestly think I am a dolt? You don't think I know what makes a successful team!?" Skye's voice raised a little. She stop and took a short deep breath and continued.
"I do know what makes up a team. But I don't need to know that you have a sister. It's unnecessary information to this mission. We can have a strong team with us combining all of our powers and brains to complete anything given to us. The last thing a team needs is friendship or worse, relationships. Do you understand why that could destroy the team? Because favors happen. Because drama happens. What happens if Onna and I were being help hostage? The host says you can only save one. Who are you going for? The one you like more. I've seen it happen too many times! And I've had enough! Everyone on a team deserves a fair chance to live! Both Onna and I should be saved, not just one! Teammates should always strive to save all team members. Let your teammate die knowing that they tried their absolute hardest to save them. I've seen people in love on a team, and they do anything to protect each other and forget about the rest of them. They leave their other teammates to die, because love to them is all that matters! Making friends is a dangerous thing."
Maybe that's why all of mine are dead. Skye thought sadly. She looked down at her robotic arm remorsefully.

"No it isn't," Arohk stated plainly with a confused look on his face as he stared at Skye, "you must have been on some REALLY terrible teams. Why would two of them forget about the rest just because they're madly in love? It sounds like a team that was divided, not a true bond. I can count numerous times when James' relationship hasn't gotten in the way of a mission, and I can also count numerous times that he's been there for me, inside of a mission and out! I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for making friends with him and Paul!" He exclaimed, almost in anger at what Skye had said.
"Making allies and friends is a good thing, and nothing you say will make me say otherwise. However..." he paused, sighing a bit, "I can't force you to be friendly. James even specifically stated that."

As Sebastian stepped aboard small, yet impressive vessel, he looked around with an amused smirk. There was something strangely nostalgic about the ship. He supposed he must have assassinated someone aboard a similar vehicle. It wouldn't surprise him, if he had. The Sparrow had left it's mark on plenty of places, it was so very hard to remember individual jobs, were they not particularly memorable.
Greeting Paul with a friendly wave of his hand, he did not pay too much attention to the man, assuming he was simply the peasant pilot of the ship. Sebastian had a distaste for pilots. They always seemed to be cocky, charismatic hotshots who did the craziest of things, only to show off. Much like Sebastian himself -- but much less refined and handsome. In fact, what was he even thinking? They didn't even compare to his general amazingness.
Snapped out of his thoughts by James, he gave a court cough, regaining his form. He raised a hand to get the man's attention, smiling in a polite manner. "Hey, boss. Our 'quarters' as you called them. How are they furnished? I would kill for a shower right about now."
An uncomfortable emphasis was placed on the word "kill". A sweet, innocent smile was spread on Sebastian's face.

As voices raised and emotions began to run high Zethinir did his best to quell the escalating situation, only to have his faint voice drowned out and ignored. When he could no longer bear having to witness this unsightly display he took a deep breath and motioned his arms. "Enough!", he shouted uncharacteristically of his usually docile state. Thrusting his arms downwards a strong gust rippled through the room, enough so to make a man stumble. As Sentinels-in-training however, they were the exceptions. It was enough at least to make a mess of their hairs, if nothing else.
Hopefully having garnered their attention by this point Zenithir did his best to be the voice of affability and reason. "Skye, I believe, has a valid point. Though I would welcome your friendships we should not allow our personal lives to intermingle with our professional lives. It has caused problems in the past, this I can attest to with a grave heart. However Skye, Arohk is your commanding officer, and as such you should show him due respect. And Arohk, forgive me for talking down to you like a child, but that was not so courteous. I'd ask that you refrain from such uncouth remarks that could endanger our team's compatibility. It is unfitting one in a leadership position." He paused for a moment before speaking up again. "Apologies for my outburst." With that he bowed deeply.
Rather distressed he sighed, holding his fingers to his forehead, his hair draping over his eyes. He brushed his hair back, hoping for a favorable response, somewhat nervous to how they'd react.

Skye took a deep breath and stood up. She was going to be heard by everyone.
"Alright I see we all have different opinions on this topic. Nothing wrong with that. Just bad when we start fighting each other. That's what destroys a team, and I think we can all agree on that." Skye looked around her team, making sure they had all eyes on her. She continued.
"Zethinir, thank you for saying what you said. What I said earlier, I still stick to it. But that is my opinion. That is what I saw in my lifetime. Every team is different. Different people and situations. I'm not trying to change anyone's perspective, and you guys likewise. What we are doing here is sharing what we have seen of this universe." Skye let her last sentence sink in. She hesitated before she continued.
"When I said making friends is a dangerous thing, I didn't mean it is a bad thing. Simply that it can be risky. Like what Zethinir said, personal lives should be left out from professional. Still, we can all work very well together. I'm sorry if I seem...unfriendly. It's just...." Skye stopped looking down at the ground. She couldn't believe she was going to talk about herself. Skye looked up at her teammates.
"It's just I don't trust easy. I've had a tough life, nothing normal to what it should of been. My family is dead, no lover, I've seen war, and my planet turned is dust. All the friends I've made ended up dead. The people I meet when I planet hop are just folks I help to make a small difference in this corrupt world. I never see them twice. So sorry about being so brute. You guys are the closes people I have to friends I guess. Sorry, I'll do better to be more...open." Skye was about to sit down, when she looked to Arohk.
I don't want to, but... Skye thought before she spoke.
"And I'm sorry to you too, Arohk. You deserve respect."
Skye sat down, feeling an unusual satisfaction from what she just said, and the fact that she did it so calmly. She hadn't said sorry in a long, long time.
