I would like all of you to submit a creature to be in this story. It's not that I hate being trite, even though I do, but rather the want to include as many people as I possibly can.
Think of this like an RP sign-up. You type up a character sheet.
Name: (One word, or a nickname) Physical Description: Behavioral Description: Abilities:
There are literally no restrictions on this. Your creature can be an inter-dimensional assassin badass with tits, if you want. Just know that these creatures are confined in a space with no way out alone. If you create sad tit-monster, it will not be able to escape (at least not easily).
Already submitted: Kain's "Ghost" Noven's "Breeder" (ejacuspider) Luke's "Lost" Phrost's "Angel" Noven's "Marshland" (Yeah, old members. We're going there.)
All of your creations will be featured in SOME WAY, whether the protagonist interacts with them or not. The awesomestestest monster-creator gets a cookie.

Name: Stalker/Scavenger
Physical Appearance: Few have actually ever seen the creature, let alone in its entirety. It is rather humanoid in diaphragm, though there are noticeable differences. Despite its short stature, raising to only 4"6 (approx. 4"10 if they do not slouch, as their backs are often bent and huddled) it appears lanky, as it has a thin and frail diaphragm. The gangling creature has short claws, almost as nails, often gnarled and dirty, that lengthen no longer than typically 20 inches, often shorter. Its skin pigment has a small range, but covers the darker gamuts between grey and black. Females of the species can sometimes be distinguished with a dark brown-grey skin pigmentation. For the most part the creature is hairless save for long, thin, greasy looking hairs that edge the back and sides of their heads, like that a balding man, but far more sparse in hair count. Facial features include a small, wrinkly nose, and a somewhat large gob, with teeth sharpened, flat and dull alike, much like a human's. The most distinguishable feature, given their nature, is their large eyes. Eyes very large in diameter, with irises and pupils that can shrink to tiny proportions, making the whites of their eyes very noticeable in dark places. Contrary, their irises and pupils can easily expand to very large proportions, enabling versatile vision in dark and bright biomes alike. The creature tends to walk on its fours, though it is capable of bi-pedal feats, but their hunched backs seems to denote that they do not spend as much time on their hinds. Last of all they posses short but pointed ears.
Behavioral Patterns: The creatures tend to form into communities, hunting, as it were, in groups. However, the community can easily be threatened if it grows too large, though smaller gatherings are rarely a problem. It is feasible that they are omnivores by nature, but appear to favor their carnivorous tendencies. Nocturnal by nature, they sleep long hours in the day and scavenge for food by day. If they live in a naturally dark environment though, the matter of day and night will have little sway on sleeping hours. As scavengers they are docile creatures who are quick to flee, as they have no real means to defend themselves in combat. However, their prowess in stealth compliments their hunting style. They are typically lazy and complacent, and their communes are socially communistic by nature, with no apparent sign of any alphas in their typically small numbers. When it comes to feeding, the group will converge upon nightfall, or whenever the dark best suits their needs, and from there split into groups of two or three, depending on the size of the commune, or sometimes prefer to each go their individual ways. When prey is spotted, typically those who appear to be near death, as their scavenging habits desire, they will emit a sound akin to wailing, as others of the group join. Once prey has been found, the group will stalk it endlessly, and rarely tire of stalking. As hunger grows, or if their prey is expected to soon die, their breathing becomes heavy and sometimes even arrhythmic. The loud breathing is often a forbearance to prey who are aware of their pursuit and can even frighten more intelligent prey, primarily humans. However, if pursued themselves the creatures will flee and disperse with incredible speed, coupled with their stealth abilities in the darkness, they are very difficult to locate, unless by the aforementioned breathing patterns, and hunt. Once they feel safe enough they will converge again to continue their stalking pursuit of their prey, if previously scared away. They are incredibly persistent in the wait for their prey's imminent death. One last thing of note; extreme hunger can threaten the stability of a commune as though they are complacent in nature for the most part they are avaricious in appetite in times of said hunger. In extreme cases the group will collapse and fall into a fray as they kill each other for sustenance with whatever means they have to their disposal.
Abilities: They have no abilities to speak of, other than their ability to move silently and unseen in dark areas which their skin pigments typically augment

1.Name: "Colonist"
2.Physical Description: Horse body with an ant's head and a large crystal ball-like organ sticking out of it's humanoid torso. Has two crab-like arms and hands.
2a. Color: Brownish-yellow torso with pure black eyes, it's antennae a darker brown. The crystal organ seems clear.
3.Behavioral Description: Social, friendly, trusting and always looking to defend something. Doesn't like being ridden without consent.
Abilities: Vice grip: It's giant crab claws can bend most metals and crush the strongest of bones.
Horse legs: His legs are suited for charging and kicking, though he doesn't like being an ass.
The Orb: The organ in his chest can be made to create light when needed, like such in a light bug. While his is a blue-green light, they're just as diverse as a human's fingerprints, and you'll never find two with the same color and shade of light made.
Screeching: When in distress, the Colonist sends out a cry too high pitched for most ears to notice. Beware the scuttling of legs and flapping of wings afterwards, for the sounds attract all bugs and insects such as spiders, cockroaches, ants, and if the Colonist is in EXTREME distress, the sounds even attract bats and certain birds in a 50 mile radius.
Pheromone: Upon death, the Colonist sends out a pheromone, sending it's colony members it's angry demand to be avenged.
